Rasmusen's Egg Farm has been producing eggs in Wanganui for nearly 80 years. Aaron is a third generation poultry farmer and prides himself on the good quality of the products that leave the farm under the Rasmusen name.
Rasmusen's employ 20 staff on either a full time or part time basis. We consider staff training to be extremely important and many of our staff have been trained through Ag Ito in Egg Handling and Farm Management. This training ensures that we provide very good animal welfare and produce the best quality product.
At Rasmusen's we produce free-range, caged and colony eggs as well as unpasteurised egg pulp. We also rear birds from day-old through to laying. All this combines to ensure that we provide a good range of product to our customers.
Our location in Wanganui means that we can provide product throughout the North Island and our customer base stretches from Whangarei down to Wellington.
